Possible Trade (WHIR)

im currently in a 10 team H2H CBS league ... i currently like my roster (for the most part)...but am thinking about exploring a trade for the injured Hamilton... although i don't think i need it... i also don't think it will hurt.... what do you guys think

i'm thinking about offering my 1b (either Kendrys Morales or Justin Morneau, i expect he will take the healthy one) and Logan Morrison for Hamilton... (since he is out for 2 months-ish i think he might be a little panicked, plus i think either 1B is an upgrade of Cuddyer who he currently has at 1B)

my team is:

C- Carlos Santana
1B- Justin Morneau
2B- Gordon Beckham
3B- Placido Polanco (while longo is out)
SS- Elvis Andrus
OF- Ryan Braun
OF- Matt Holliday
OF- Andrew McCutchen
U- Logan Morrison

Bench- Evan Longoria (DL) and Kendrys Morales (DL)


Pitching:
SP- Bronson Arroyo
SP- John Danks
SP- Paul Maholm
SP- Shaun Marcum
SP- Ricky Romero
RP- John Axford
RP- Heath Bell

Bench- Zach Greinke (DL) Jake Peavy (DL), and Jordan Zimmerman


since there are no DL Spots in my league, is it better just to not offer for Hamilton ?? i already think i got a pretty good OF.. and with 5 guys on the DL now, would adding another be too much for my team to handle?? and advice is appritiated (and all help is returned)

If he were to take Morneau then i would Definitely do it if you dont mind shouldering him on the DL for that long as well as the possible rust after hes recovered. I like Kendrys this year even with the early injury

Who do you play at 1B if you move Morneau? Morales isn't coming back until early May, from what it sounds like. I actually like Morneau this year, if the Morales trade gets accepted I'd do that first (though I'd be surprised if it was accepted).

With the Morneau/Morrison trade who do you see filling in for you until Morales/Hamilton get better? I like the idea of getting Hamilton on the cheap, but you'd need to make sure you don't fall out of contention before you actually get him in the lineup.

Dude, sit tight, your OF is clutch. Morneau is so underrated this year, you made a good draft pick, let it grow. Why trade such a sure bet for an oft injured, and honestly unnecessary 3rd top string OF.
