It's taken some self control not to take advantage of their hbo go promotion where you can watch the next episode now through their internet streaming. I'd rather wait until Sunday so I don't have to go two weeks between new episodes.
same here...plus i'm not set up to stream to my TV
This week was terrific. It's hard to not get invested in characters that I know are going to die. I'm trying to just like the ones that I know will live.
I couldn't wait to see Tywin Lannister so I searched for the actor Charles Dance and found some pics of him in character. meh. Starting to like Theon. Tyrion is stealing the show.
Have never read the books, but just watched the seven episodes over the last two days. Good show. Dinklage kills it in every scene he's in (I only wish Tyrion was in more of them).
I usually wait until the end of seasons to watch shows like this (so I don't have to wait between episodes), but I heard too many good things.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
I just wonder whether anyone who hadn't read the books would have been able to follow it. Dozens of characters and several storylines introduced in one hour. Would have been confusing had I not read it already and already known who was playing which characters.
I didn't read the books and I'm following the show with no problems.
Not me. I like the show, but I'm constantly checking the character titles to see who people are talking about. I'm almost there, though.

Hmmm...For this genre, I'm liking Camelot (on Showtime) a little better, but I really like the fantasy aspect of this and the mystery that surrounds the White Walkers (I did not read the books).
