Trade Analysis

Postby drewpclark » Tue Apr 12, 2011 1:54 am

I have David Wright and a guy in my league wants him for Cliff Lee, Mark Reynolds, and Mike Stanton

would i be stupid to not accept this?

League is Roto 5x5 with the hitting catagories (RBI AVG HR SB OBP)

I would drop Hafner and Ujhara

Well assuming you have 2 guys who are somewhat droppable I would do it. Who would you drop if you did the trade? Remember in a trade like that while you give him just one guy, you do lose 3 guys total.

Is Hafner on your bench right now, or playing at UTL? Who would Stanton be replacing? Might as well post your roster and league settings.

Am I missing something here by saying you absolutely accept that trade if youre willing to have Reynolds/Stanton kill your AVG. Offensively you're more than making up for Wright with his replacement, Stewart and Reynolds/Stanton. Youre also getting Lee, whos admittedly not quite living up to his #s from the last few years, but is no question still a top tier arm for the rest of the season.
