10-team 5x5 roto non-keeper. I needed power and had SP to spare.
I gave Dan Haren, Corey Hart and Chase Utley.
I got Josh Hamilton.
I understand if Utley comes back for a significant length of time this year, I lost on this one. But if that doesn't happen, what do you think?

I'm pretttty big on Haren this year, but your pitching still looks solid without him.
I honestly don't think Utley will be making an impact this year, especially for Roto leagues. If you consider this to be Hamilton for Haren/Hart, I think you did really well. If Utley surprises us both, then it's a lot more of an interesting deal but I don't think you did too bad, especially with Cano already at 2B.
So I guess I'm agreeing with you. Looks good for now, but can totally reverse depending on Utley's return time.
I think you did real well on this trade. Utley is nothing you can count on, so even if he comes back, you cannot think of it in those terms. I always like hitting over pitching and some of these young guys are pitching really well so if worst comes to worst you can find a WW guy easier than what you get from hamilton, I am down on Hart this year too.
For the most part you made out really well on this...The Rangers are gonna have a HUGE year as we can see already, and Hamilton will put up stud numbers and he'll start to hit bombs soon enough...not feeling Hart this year, passed on him in every draft...Haren's very good but sometimes very inconsistent (especially ERA-wise), and again, with Utley only time will tell ya kno...but definitely lovin Hamilton!
It was risky because Hamilton is not the poster boy for health. I personally wouldn't have liked the deal anyways because even though you dealt from a position of strength, you really over-payed too early. You could have done better, at least in terms of security.
