Hey folks, got offered M. Reynolds for MY E.Jackson. Im lacking in power, and Reynolds offers lots of that. I also have good arms...Is this a no-brainer?
My team: C-Mauer, Buck 1B-Butler 2B-Prado(3B) 3b-Alvarez SS-Drew OF-Braun,Abreu,Torres,Boesche,Bay(DL) UTIL-Hafner

I understand that you need power help, and Reynolds could provide some assistance. But honestly, if I were you I'd rather get someone more consistent than him. You aren't getting any batting average help and will be hurt by the strikeouts. And I'm pretty high on Edwin Jackson right now. You are relatively stacked with pitching, so if I were you I'd offer Edwin or someone else for a more high end 3B or other power source. I think you can do better than Reynolds. If there are really no other options for you out there, then you might wanna roll the dice with this trade.
Outside of your Relief Pitchers...you have some nice Starting Pitchers.
So...you would be dealing from an area of strength.
You could really use some more bats...M.Reynolds should give you some power and some stolen bases. He will also give you an atrocious batting average. If you can live with that...then pull the trigger.

Yeah, I kind of agree with this guys assessment. Try for something higher first and if not then consider Reynolds.
If you have strong pitching, you might as well deal Edwin for Reynolds. Not sure if you could get anyone better than him. Can you afford to take the hit on average? The power is there and I like Reynolds this year. I say, go for it. Thanks for helping me too.

Im currently 3rd in average, but last in homers...hence the question

Yeah, I doubt you'll be able to do better than that. Pull the trigger. Nice sell high...
