I'd be trading Hanson and Laroche. My team right now looks like this:
C- Wieters 1B- Huff 2B- Uggla 3B- Youkilis SS- Tulo OF- Granderson OF- C Young OF- M Bourn U- G Beckham U- Crisp B- Infante B- Laroche
SP- Johnson, Verlander, Oswalt, Hanson, Wandy, J Garcia, Hughes, T Wood, Z Britton RP- Gregg, Burnett
I think the biggest holes I have are 1B and RP. I think I can afford to lose 1 of my top pitchers since I have a very good foundation there. My offense would be much improved. Do you think its a good trade for me? Do you think he would accept it? I always struggle in gauging trades so any feedback would be welcome. And feel free to leave a link and I'll return the favor
I like that trade for you. I agree your pitching is fairly deep and you can probably afford to lose one of those guys. Kimbrel is an upgrade over your two closers. As for him accepting, it depends where his holes are. If he needs pitching, it probably has a chance. He may not like LaRoche as a replacement for Konerko though.
I like this deal as well. You upgrade your team fairly well but the only problem is that Hanson hasn't been very sharp and LaRoche is never very strong. But worth a shot.

As the other 2 posters stated I like this deal for you. However, I don't know if the other owner will downgrade from Konerko to Laroche. Unless of course he has another 1B. Offer the trade and see what happens. You shouldn't have too much of a problem upgrading your 1B by moving a SP. Just see who can spare a 1B and who needs pitching.

I agree with the others. I like this trade for you. You can definitely afford to lose Hanson in order to improve two other positions.
If I were you, I'd try to trade away Gordon Beckham. You don't need two 2Bs on your team if you only start one. I'd try to target a team without a top level second baseman. A lot of people are high on Beckham this year (myself included). You could probably get a good deal for him.
I'd like this deal for you, as you are getting the best player in the deal (Konerko)...however I would be surprised if it was accepted. Laroche is possibly the streakiest player in the majors, and when he's off, he is AWFUL (coming from a FORMER Larcoche owner). In all likelihood he'll end up on the wire eventually, meaning the deal is essentailly those two for Hanson. Hanson hasn't been great either so far, so that may hurt you. But i hope he accepts it
