With the steroid talk of today being focused on ManRam i was wondering what do you guys think??? By the time Arod retires his numbers are going to be insane most likely the best of all time by anyone. Does he get in and if so 1st ballot or not???

Arguably the best all around player in the past decade wont have to wait to get into Cooperstown.

Arod admitted using an illegal substance during a time its use was widespread, and it's unclear to what extent he really used it. Manny got caught red-handed after the league said "stop". Manny also simply isn't anywhere close to the level of player that Arod was in his prime, if not still is today.

I doubt it. McGwire took a LONG time to come clean about his actions and had crazy spikes in his production.

From 1996 to 2010 A-Rod had one year (1997, 23/84) where he hit less than 30 HR and 100 RBI. He came clean, apologized and has kept playing.

If A-Rod doesn't get in within 2 years, a lot of ballots should be taken away.

Yes. Will he get voted in to the HOF is a different question. Maybe some things will change before he is up for election but I think he is going to have a hard time. Test case next year with Bonds and Clemons.

A-Roid will get in, but hopefully not in his lifetime and I think that's just how the Roid Era should play out. These guys cheated the game for fame and fortune. I say let them live in their disgrace and wait until they die before they get the honor of the HOF.
