I have to cut one of these pitchers to take latos off of the dl list. i have too many. some i just picked up because they were doing well, like drabek. Let me know please and thanks in advance.
SP-yovani gallardo, ricky nolasco, kyle drabek, jaime garcia, edwin jackson, ryan depster, daniel hudson, wandy rodriguez, mat latos
rp- heath bell, sean burnett
one sidenot, burnett or storen for my relief pitcher? i had storen but dropped him because burnett has earned the last two saves on washington.
It would come down to Nolasco or Drabek for me. Probably would drop Nolasco. Its been a couple years since he was really good. He is somewhat overated.
Burnett for sure, but Storen will get some chances. Burnett could have a short leash
I just picked up drabek, edwin jackson, and a few others, and i could get rid of one, maybe two. Drabek is off to a very good start, do you think it will last? and nolasco would really be your other to go? of all of them, if you got rid of two, who would they be?
Drop Drabek. There is NO CHANCE I drop Nolasco. The kid is just unlucky, his peripherals are top notch year in and year out, if he ever catches a break he'll easily become a stud.
Hal·la·day, n. 1. every fifth day in Philadelphia. 2. a day of rest for the bullpen. 3. innings eater. 4. doc. 5. ace.
Drop Drabek. He's unproven, and pitches in the AL east. Nolasco is an enigma. If you look at his peripherals, there is a lot to like. I agree with Smoove that he's been unlucky. He's a better bet than Drabek.
