Any chance the Royals, promote him when super 2 status ends, (late May early June) I thought they would wait it out with them both, (Moustakas and Hosmer) but Aviles and Kila Ka'aihue's have both been struggling, and the Royals find them selves in a division race.....
With less than 300 AB above High A, I don't see them giving Hosmer a shot early in the season.
That being said, if he continues to rake at AAA and the Royals are still in contention when June rolls around and Kila is still struggling, I could see them giving Hosmer a shot.
I traded for Hosmer in my dynasty league. I know hes good, but how good will he be? If all goes according to plan, which players would be good comps for him? and what kind of seasons should I expect?

I would expect something Stanton-esque from last season. Why not. The numbers are legit and scream success.

And temper your expectations about him getting called up. Yes, I suppose it technically could be any day now, but I still think the most likely scenario is a September promotion. (*though if Kila continues to struggle, they might reevaluate) He's also only 1B eligible, I mean if he were a SS I could see stashing him, but honestly in a mixed league you should have someone decent at 1B anyway. In a keeper/dynasty he's probably already gone.

He doesn't have Stanton's power but he has much better plate discipline so I like him more than Stanton 5 years from now.
I also doubt he gets called up. The Royals were not expecting to be competitive this year and the start of the season isn't going to change their long term plan. By calling him up now, the Royals would lose a year of service time and push him faster than they want. Maybe he gets a call in late June or July or August or September but only if he keeps hitting and the Royals think he is unquestionably ready. But not anytime soon...it is only April. And Kila could actually start to hit.

Who really thinks/has heard anything concrete to him EH being anything more than a Sept. 1 callup? I mean for the leagues where I own him, I'd rather have him up on June 1 or not at all this year, but everything I've seen - coupled with my gut feeling about how the Royals handle their 'spetcs - tells me to fight the urge to buy into this "any day now" and even "June 1, for sure" talk at this point ...
