Its a 14 team keeper. R HR RBI SB AVG OBP W SV K HLD ERA WHIP. every person is given a round value based on draft spot and performance. ackley was drafted 23rd round so he wont be much higher next yr which is good. who should i drop and should i use it.
How does the keeper system work? Can you keep everybody? I ask because you said he was already drafted last season.
When Ackley comes up (probably mid-season), you're not going to get much in the way of fantasy production, so you'd need to be patient for a few years, He'll probably contribute in BAvg and R sooner, though. Think Howie Kendrick with a higher power ceiling.
From 2011-2012, I can't see Ackley doing much more than .280/.360./.400 with a lot of doubles, but not many homers and only 5-10 stolen bases. With Ackley, it's still all about projection for future batting titles.
What other players would be available?
Good luck!
