How might you view any players differently?

I am in a 10-team 5x5 auction league and our auction is tomorrow. All stats are retroactive.

For Example:

- Would you even bid on Longoria and if so at what discount?
- Would you buy low on Hamels?
- Is Holiday/Dunn's value affected?

ANY thoughts on how you might view an auction now over wa week into the season is appreciated.

I would target these guys with the hope that I could get them cheaper because others will be steering clear of them. The problem is that you will have to target bench players to take there place so that may effect your overall budget. In the long run of a season it really should not have any reall effect beyond the first few weeks.

I would bid on Longoria, but I'd wait...I'd expect at least a 10-20% discount.

I'd def buy low on Hamels.

I do not think for one second that Dunn will be affected - he's going to mash in Chicago. Holiday I'd be more skeptical on, but I think he'll be fine too.
