I have heard nothing but good things about this guy. He has just been named the 3rd starter in KC.

What kind of year will he have?

I was considering dropping Radke for him...

I'd go with Affeldt over Radke.

I hit 95 mph heat and am nowhere near a MLB player.

Do you have a 12 to 6 hook that breaks about 5 ft. ??? I doubt it....

Nice to hear from you Brien Taylor....started to wonder about you.
Never got my chance to ask why you never watched 'Bull Durham'.
Because if you did, you'd know that when you're in a bar fight, never punch a guy with your throwing hand.

And besides, these folks are talking about a player who can STILL throw 95.....and not on his X-box.
Best of luck managing that 7-11.

The guy isn't claiming to THROW 95 MPH heat, just saying he can HIT 95 MPH heat.

If you can hit 95 MPH heat, a curve really isn't too much out of reach.

Now, if Affeldt can throw a 95 MPH curve with 5 feet of 12-6 action, you might have something.
