Donald Trump for President?

So I've been hearing quite a bit about Trump possibly running for president and I'm curious as to what the consensus opinion about him is. Does anyone think he'll actually run and that he has a chance at winning the Republican nomination? I've watched a couple of his interviews and he seems like he has some good ideas, it might be time to try putting a successful businessman in charge with the way the country is going. Plus he can't be any worse than Obama right?

There's a good chance he runs. There's absolutely zero chance he wins the Republican nomination. He's appearing everywhere that will have him right now spouting off about Obama's birth certificate, which is fine if he wants to win the "Birther" vote, which is a tiny segment of the population that includes almost no mainstream Republican politicians--and, really, no reasonable people with an ounce of sense. The whole "Birther" thing is the dumbest conspiracy theory since the "Truthers." They're opposite sides of the same coin. But yeah...he's got the ego to run, but has absolutely no chance of being nominated. That said, I hope he does become involved because he'll raise issues and say things (legitimate things, not birth certificate-related) that others won't simply because he's not a politician worried about reelection when his presidential bid fails.

well according to main stream media, all republicans are either jokes, or evil, or both. Most Lib's i have come across have zero desire to have a debate. They just skip right to personal destruction, and their beloved media eats it up.

It's pretty hard to take Palin and Trump seriously as candidates. As one-eyed as you are, you have to agree. They have as much credibility to be president as Ronald McDonald and HR Pufnstuf in my opinion
