Well, fairly nice trade, though is sucks to not be able to keep any of them...If you want to make a run for the championship this season, I would definitely go for it, but if you want to compete with good keepers down the line, I would hold tight...Hanson and Stanton are good players though Ubaldo and Crawford are a bit better...Either way, its a fair deal...I personally like younger stars in the making, but also would have a hard time overlooking the players you would get. Stay tight if you want stars for future years, go for it if you really want to make a run for the championship...
I think if you do the trade it makes your team better for this year, so you should do...you easily have 6 other guys worth keeping. In fact, you have a damn good team for a 12 team league.
How long are you able to keep Felix and Timmy? Obviously, if you're able to compete to win the league this year I'd make the deal. You'd still have plenty of keepers in AGon, CarGon, McCutchen, your 2 big pitchers, A-Rod, etc. The one thing that would hold me back is the potential of Stanton.
I really like this deal for you...great time to buy low on Crawford as hes almost as proven as anyone. Konerko is due for a down year but is sure to put up 30 hr 100 rbis and u should be fine. On top of that your upgrading from tommy hanson to jiminez who i both like, but feel jiminez is flirting with a cy young again this year. If you break it down...Jiminez>Hanson, Crawford>>Stanton, Konerko>Beachy...you clearly win each spot. PULL THE TRIGGER PLEASE HELP WITH MINE viewtopic.php?f=26&t=426679
