No I would not give all that up...Why don't you dim it down a bit...

If you REALLY want a power bat...try dealing Halladay and Heyward for Jered Weaver and Gonzalez

I am not sure if that fits for you, but it is something to consider.

help me?

Absolutely not, that is completely ridiculous. I dont see anywhere that you would be upgrading except 1B, which Butler is serviceable at. Is he going to give you 40 HR? No, theres no way, but he will give you 20+ which is good enough for now. I would do what he^ says (even though it is a Cubs fan, j/k), no need to give up that many players if youre only after that one. If he will not trade by dimming it down to a reasonable and fair 2 for 2 trade, TRADE WITH SOMEONE ELSE!! 1B is such a deep position someone will be able to help you out. Heck I would go after Howie Kendrick for someone you dont really need much.

If Kendrick was picked up last night it is definitely a shallow league, and you can get another 1B if you need it, but this trade is not fair to you. Butler isnt bad, and he's been "supposed" to break out for 2 seasons now, so there is ptential for him to get better. Is Laroche available? He will definitely help in the second half at least.
