Interesting. That's a gamble, but I think I'd do it. Bailey and Nathan both have injury question marks, and Kimbrel looks like he's closing full time, plus he just looks nasty. Zimerman isn't just a throw-in, either - he could have a quietly useful year. It's close, but I think I'd go for it.

Hmmm, I agree, it is indeed interesting. Your SP is already solid, so Zimmerman wouldn't really help all that much. And while Kimbrel has a tight hold on the job now, anything can happen and Venters could end up as closer any time now.

Instead, could you try to get an upgrade at 1B? Then move Butler into UT spot and Lind to the bench. You can try this with OF as well.

If you go ahead with the original deal, I'd suggest looking into a WW closer...is Jordan Walden still out there?
