me and this kid were countering trade offers and it came down to i trade away C.C Sabathia, Carl Crawford, Vladimir Guerrero, and Ryan Theriot for Matt Cain, Matt Kemp, Jayson Werth, and Martin Prado
i play in a 12 man league and this is my roster

I don't think that it's an unfair trade at all.. But I don't think that its a trade that you need to make. If you like Werth and Prado THAT much more than Vlad and Theriot then roll the dice.. I like CC and Crawford a bit more than Cain and Kemp.. Just my 2 cents.. I hope it helps.. Good luck

I have to agree with the above poster. "If it's not broke don't fix it" sort of situation. Regardless, I wouldn't want to trade away Carl Crawford, period. He has the potential to be the number one fantasy player this year, you can't say the same about Matt Kemp, Matt Cain, or Jason Werth. Like the above poster said, it's not a terrible trade, and if you have a gut feeling about one of those guys pull the trigger, but it just doesn't seem necessary.

I do not like this trade because you really cannot expect Werth to put up his usual numbers as part of the Washington Nationals.... and CC is fighting for a bigger contract (he is able to OPT out after the season ends if he wishes), so he will definitely be trying his hardest.
