Changed Format

Postby DaveEyes » Mon Apr 04, 2011 10:23 pm

This is my first year in FBB, I have played FFB for 15 years. Anyway, my question is my league that I paid 50 bucks for was a 5 on 5 format and so I researched we drafdted then I get a call saying that the season is postponed a week and we are switching to a points based system i.e. 4 points for HR, 1 point RBI, 1 point run and so on. I am very upset since I drafted for categories and now I feel as though it is waited for HR hitters and a guy like Hanley R. who I took second is an average player now. What should I do and should the commish have been able to do this?

Completely unacceptable. It's easy to see plenty of scenarios where the commish changed the format to financially benefit himself.

Demand your money back.

Yeah, this is 100% wrong - league rules are/should be set in stone before the draft, and after teams are drafted there is no reason, ever, to change the settings. Demand money back, leave the league, never associate with the commissioner again.
