I'd make that deal. Though Carpenter is old, he's still a very good SP option. You have the speed to lose Pagan, who would be shuffled to your bench once Morales returns anyways. Wilson is also a good SP option, but not at Carpenter's level.

I'll take that deal easily. Carpenter should still give pretty good numbers and I don't think I trust Wilson enough.

I'd do that as well. While I'm not really high on Carp this year, he should still be a consistent starter for you. CJ may have some better outings, but as a whole, I think Carp will be much more consistent for you...and I'm not overly high on Pagan anyway.

Chris Carpenter is miles ahead of C.J. Wilson in my own personal opinion. Take Carpenter.
