I have Cahill but am looking to cut him for upside in Beachy... However, I would need to do this before tomorrow, since hes starting... Who would you rather have for the year?
Thanks... and Leave a link!

Cahill is still an upside play in my mind...he just turned 23. Except with him, you know that the upside is last year's numbers. Strikeouts would be nice, but I like a relatively proven commodity versus a rookie who you have no idea what you are going to get from him.
(If you think Beachy has the ability to put together last year's Cahill numbers with more strikeouts then he's your guy)
There's no way I'd cut Cahill for Beachy... even though he's due for a regression, he plays in a pitcher's park behind a good defense, and maybe he'll be able to find more of a strikeout touch this season (8 Ks on opening day, though he didn't make it through five innings due to pitch count, so he may be better off pitching to contact).
You serious clark? Have you ever seen cahill pitch? the sinking action he gets is incredible and like a previous poster said hes not even in his prime yet. his k rate should go up a good bit i think but he may continue to have some control issues with the movement he generates on the ball. combine that with his home ball park and theres no way id even consider beachy over him. Im a big braves fan as well so im hopeful beachy is as good as advertised but its way too big of an unknown right now to drop a proven talent like cahill.
