Seems like a wash really. Lester could have the year of his career, so maybe he is a nod ahead of Liriano. Marmol is obviously the closer with a proven track record. This is Thornton's first full season as a closer and it bears watching. I don't think you win or lose making this trade.

I would rather the Lester side. I think this is a good move for your team.

Pretty close ... but in a close deal I'd rather have Lester than Liriano. Lester has been far more consistent over his career.

Take the Lester side.
Thornton might close more games than Marmol this year, and you get the much better SP as well.
