Trade Help, WHIR

My team could use some help at speed/AVG, so I am thinking of proposing a trade for Ichiro. I know Ichiro is on the decline, but I still think he will be good for .325 and 35-40 SBs this year. The trade I was thinking of proposing is OF Torii Hunter and SP Jordan Zimmermann for OF Ichiro. I am having a hard time gauging Zimm's value right now because he was a sleeper for a lot of people in my league and just pitched well in his first outing, but still has a lot to prove. What do you guys think of this trade offer? Is it a good start and hope he bites on it? Thanks and leave a link, I will respond ASAP

That's a pretty decent trade for Ichiro. I will say that you need a power hitter or two, more so than you need another speed threat or for-average hitter. Aside from Pujols, you really don't have another bat that's assured 30+ HR.

The same owner has Nelson Cruz....should I change my offer to Cruz rather than Ichiro? If I did that I would think I would have to offer a little more than Zimm and Hunter though, correct?

You can do the Ichiro trade; it's good value. I was just noting that you could use another power hitter, ideally one you can target in another trade. You will have to give up more than Zimmermann/Hunter for Cruz, for sure.

You could use another SP if you deal Zimmermann. So, either another power bat or a decent SP would be my next trade target.
