Well, for one thing, you don't need a backup C; Posada is enough. Roberts can still be more than useful, if healthy and if Weeks picks up a knock, you'll have insurance. If anything, either Roberts or Weeks can make for good trade bait.

That was my original thought.. Especially because roberts will also grab 3d base eligibility.. However I worry what would happen if posada went down and someone else picked up buck..theres no one left after that outside of carlos ruiz.
