Opinions on a large Dynasty trade - WHIR!

Postby brakeyawself » Sat Apr 02, 2011 10:06 pm

16 team H2H dynasty league .

So I was drunk the other night and offered a trade. When I woke up it had been accepted. On its surface I am happy with the trade. I don't think I would have offered something like this unless I was intoxicated. A little surprised it was accepted to be honest. Yet I am still sad to see CarGo go. So just looking for some opinions on the trade, winners/losers etc...

I give:
Carlos Gonzalez/James Loney/ T. Cahill/Danny Valencia/ Delmon Young

I get:
Carl Crawford/ Pablo Sandoval/ David Price/ Jay Bruce.

Don't get me wrong, I am very happy with these players coming my way. Just feel like maybe I am missing something since it was accepted so fast and since it seems a bit lopsided in my favor. Is Cahill better than I thought he was?

Leave a link, will help with yours. Thanks!

Look at it this way:

You gave 2 premier players: CarGo and Cahill
You got 3 premier players: Crawford, Price, and Bruce.

Of the non-premier, Sandoval has a better chance of being premier than Valencia, and perhaps equal to Young. Due to 3B being scarcer than OF, Sandoval gets the edge.

In ANY way you look at this, you KILLED in this deal. Simply murdered.

Congrats! ;-D ;-D
