Don't let all the offseason eyeball rolling about that huge contract and the move to WAS affect you too much. His contract doesn't mean anything in a fantasy league, and while park factors are important you're talking about a couple HR a year. He's got a better-than-you-realize lineup around him, and he's a 5-category threat. Quentin is a much more one or two dimensional hitter. Jump on this.

I have to agree with people on the boards here, though I am a Quentin owner myself. Werth is way more consistent and isn't a walking injury risk. Werth is just a proven commodity while Quentin still has to prove it to me.

I have Werth and I wouldn't trade him for two Carlos Quentins. Guy's missed a ton of games without cracking .250 the past two years. A hot spring and a good couple of games doesn't change that.

i'd do it. like other people said werth can get you SBs and other hitting stats whereas quentin has pop and nothing else WHEN hes healthy althouhg i like chicagos lineup this year. but werth will get his chances on the road and hes been more consistent
