Evan Longoria was pulled from the game between innings. Any word as to what is going on?

Just read the Tweet and appears he left with a sore left oblique. Is this consider serious?

Yahoo! and Rotoworld reporting he shouldn't miss more than a week, but manager Joe Maddon has not ruled out a stint on the DL. He'll be reevaluated today after tests with trainers.

I think this is the kind of thing that heals itself with rest and shouldn't be a lingering problem after that. Fingers crossed.

Keep crossing those fingers:

Rays placed 3B Evan Longoria on the 15-day disabled list with a strained left oblique.
It's expected to sideline him for at least three weeks, so he won't be back before late April even in a best-case scenario. The Rays will go with Sean Rodriguez as their primary third baseman while Longo is out, while Ben Zobrist will play second base and Matt Joyce right field. Felipe Lopez has been summoned from Triple-A and should also get some at-bats.

I had a chance to draft Cabrera...dammit!

Why so many oblique injuries this year? I have 3 guys on my team alone out with the injury.
