My Jose Tabata for his Madison Bumgarner? WHIR

Postby sigriffey » Fri Apr 01, 2011 3:15 pm

I need one more SP...

Trade my Jose Tabata for his Madison Bumgarner?
or should I ask for Billingsley instead? I think I would have fewer veto concerns by asking for Madbum.

Besides one of your closers just blowing a save in a huge way.... ;)

If your question is Bum or Billingsly, Id go with Bumgarner. Thats based on a feeling rather than something else. Feeling better about the Giants this year, better line-up imo, so looking for Bum to come up with more W's.

I wouldnt.

Trading Wandy for Billingsley doesnt add all that much to your team, apart from some keeper value. But Wandy isnt that much older, has proven to be solid AND has been healthy and stable for 5 years or so now. Should he end up somewhere outside of Houston, he will see a rise in W's on top of his solid stats. No, I would hang on to him, and go with the Tabata - Bumgarner deal.
