2nd waiver claim on Gaby Sanchez... crazy? WHIR

Postby billycent » Fri Apr 01, 2011 12:44 am

Thinking about using my waiver on him... no guarantee how Davis is going to do and could just be good depth to have w/off days and what not. Worth it or no? A couple teams in my league are very thin at 1st and corner so I doubt he survives waivers as the wire is thin. Leave a link and I got u back.

Not really a big fan of Sanchez. Think he will be a good, not great player. But you certainly don't need him. So unless you have a trade lined up to move one of your other 1B or are going to press hard to trade Sanchez, I would hold my claim. There's a lot of season left and I would think there is a good chance someone in your league drops a better player than Sanchez in the future (maybe a team with a full DL or somthing). Also, depending how prospects work in your league, might be a call up for a prospect with a high upside (desmond jennings, Dominic Brown etc...) 2nd position is pretty good to have. I would honestly in this case hope that the team with #1 spot takes Sanchez, that would move you up to a better position to when a real deal producer gets on the WW.

Anymore thoughts here... I need to get my waiver claim in for tonight if I'm gonna do it.
