Need a new SP off the WW - suggestions?

Anyway! I have no extra SP since Latos is on the DL for week one, and I wouldn't mind having an extra SP anyway since I'm a bit thin on definite talent.

These are the SP on my league's WW.

Kennedy
Vasquez
Floyd
Zambrano
Juujens
Lackey

And downhill from there. Several prospects are still available too.


Should I snag another SP, and if so, who? And who would be worth dropping in exchange?

I would definitely carry at least 6 active SP or you have little chance to win the K or Win categories.

3. kennedy
4. Lackey

i wouldnt touch Jurrjens (has his own injury concerns) or Zambrano (whip killer)

also as for who to drop...

looking at your roster your starting batters have zero speed so you arent going to win SB like ever.
And since Venable is only good for his speed in your league (his Avg and OBP are terrible, SD is not going to score many runs and his ceiling is like 20-25 HR's) i would drop him first. Hes pretty much useless for you.

If you want to pick up 2 SP ( i would) then i would also drop Lily as Hootie suggested.
Im not that excited about Morse, but I think he is more valuable to your specific team. ie legit power, pretty good avg, solid rbi potential - all things your team is good at and youll want to try to win every week. SB's... not so much

All righty. I grabbed Chacin and Zimmerman for Hart and Venable. Once Hart is off the DL, if not before then, I will see what pitcher I'll drop to get a bat back.
