I used my last draft pick on Chris Sale since I own Thornton. I am pretty sure that Thornton has the closer role locked down and will, but wanted some insurance b/c of my prior experience with closers. I wanted to hold onto Sale for a little while to make sure but realize I am pretty shallow at third and could use some help in the OF wihen it comes to pop. Currently I stocked up on speed and neglected power in the OF department and waited for a third baseman and favored pitching. If I were to drop Sale, which would be the best move.
Currently I have:
Encarnacion and C. Johnson at 3B
and
Ellsbury, Gardener, Pagan and Span (RES - Crisp)
On the wire are the likes of:
OF - Damon, Willingham, Alex Gordon, Venable, Fukudome, Joyce and Ben Francisco
3B - Polanco, Rolen, Mora, Wigginton or Kouzmanoff
Would any of the listed guys be a better bet than Sale at this point?

I'd much rather take a flyer on Gordon than Chris Johnson. Gordon is batting third and had a great spring. Johnson is mediocre in everything.
In my fridge: Founders Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS), Central Waters Peruvian Morning, Bell's Batch 10,000, Dale's Pale Ale, Capital Brewery Amber, New Glarus Moon Man, and Guinness.
