My brain tells me no, as Verlander has been miserable in previous Aprils, and is obviously pitching in a hitter-friendly track.
But, it's Opening Day, and I'm anxious

... thoughts?

I would start him.
You draft a guy that high and you should use him. I know that he usually starts slow, but maybe this year he doesn't. You'll be furious if you don't start him and he dominates, and if he gets blown up... Well at least baseball is back!

Start him. You never know, but Verlander is top 15.

I'd start him. I'm a Yankee fan and he always gives us fits.
