HTH format with weekly lineups, and we start 2 SP. 10 SP scoring cats...W(9 pts), SO(7), QS(3), L(-3), K(1), INN(1), CG(4), BBI(-.5), ERA(tier), GS(1).

I have an open roster spot to fill, maybe two if Ian Stewart is DL bound, so who should I grab?

Current staff...
Sabathia
Lester
Scherzer
Buchholz
Romero
Nolasco
Chacin
Zambrano

Best Available...
Blanton
Buehrle
Dickey
Guthrie
Hammel
Holland
McDonald
Niemann
Niese
Norris
Piniero
Porcello
R Wells
Westbrook
Wolf
Wood

Leave a link, WHIR for sure! ;-D

Pitching staff is very solid. Sabathia and Lester should be top 10 and Scherzer and Chacin are really great picks IMO. I think they'll both end up in top 20. I'd personally go after Holland or Norris with your open spot due to both of their upsides.

Norris would be a source of very cheap strikeouts. Guthrie would be a nice addition as well because he'll be on a slightly better team. The Baltimore offense will be much better than the Houston offense. Norris gives you strikeouts, Guthrie will have more wins. Guthrie is the safe play, but Norris has the most potential upside, and could be a real sleeper. I'd lean toward Norris.

Solid staff you have a lot of pitchers with a great amount of potential and upside to go with your aces. I would give McDonald a look also. Help me out

Thanks for the help on mine.

Good staff overall. I'm a little weary about Zambrano not getting wins, but he always seems to get 15 each year. I would target Norris in the short term with your pick up.

I'd suggest James McDonald, for his high K upside and the fact that your staff is already solidified. Now it is likely McDonald will not win many games and won't go incredibly deep, but if I'm reading this correctly, you only start 2SP per week? Do you have any other P slots? Your staff is already pretty solid, so there is no use in grabbing a "reliable" back end of the rotation guy right now. Go with the upside, if it pans out, good, if not then back to the wire.

Thanks for the help with mine.
