Lester/De la Rosa for Billingsley/Lilly

Postby tablesetter » Tue Mar 29, 2011 10:59 am

5x5 keeper
I'd be getting Lester/De la Rosa from a major Dodgers fan but I can't seem to pull the trigger. I know Lester is the best player here but I'm really high on Billingsley and Lilly this year.

Listen I am a huge Dodgers fan too, but Lester is the real deal and you are getting him without giving up too much in return. Lilly is going to eat up innings but not give the huge peripherals and with Bills it could go anywhere in 360 degrees. Take the sure thing. If you wouldnt mind posting your roster too that would be great.

I'd avoid. Lester is by far the better starter. He has a shot at a CY young type season and many experts have predicted it. He was actually a little unlucky last year and could post upwards of 20 wins. The improved offense and defense in Boston should make a big difference. Billignsley has had arm troubles most year and Lilly is just plain old.I think both will be very good, but it's a lot of risk to take on while giving up the beest player in the deal.

Pull the trigger.

Lester will battle for CY Young this year. Bill/Lilly will not come close to his value, and DLR is pretty good himself.

I'm really high on Lester for this year. I'd make that deal.
