I'm thinking of making this trade as I'm not a big fan of Ichiro and it autodrafted him when my internet cut out during my draft.
I give: Ichiro Suzuki, Francisco Liriano
I get: Jacoby Ellsbury, Justin Verlander
I don't know if it would go through, but I could try. My biggest problem with this is I have both Mark Reynolds and Dan Uggla on my team. Its not a HUGE deal because we count Hits instead of Average as a stat. But that being said Ichiro would help with Hits A LOT more than Ellsbury.... I REALLY like Verlander though. Should I do this considering the Hits Ichiro would help me make up??

I would.
I think J.Ellsbury is going to have a good year. Ellsbury hits in a superior lineup. He is also younger.
The 2 pitchers are a wash. Might lean towards the Verlander side more.

It will give Ellsbury more counting stats but do you think the extra 40 or more hits that I'd get from Ichiro would help balance my Reynolds and Uggla?
I don't know why but that is the one thing holding me back on this deal...

I like the youth on his side plus I think Verlander could come up big thus year.
