Soren for Gio?

I am currently in a head-to-head league against some friends who I very much would like to destroy.

Theres this one kid who keeps attempting to take one of my closers (since he has only 2). Currently, I own marmol, Putz, Storen, Bailey, and Rauch (aquired him as a temp since bailey will start on the DL).

Should I accept the trade of Storen for Gio Gonzalez? And if so, do you think id mostly be able to win the save category every week without Storen? (I am very fond of storen's stuff).

Well first off, yes I would do that trade. Storen is not the closer yet and very well might not get it full time. The problem I see is that four of your five closers have question marks. Rauch unlikely to stay closing when Fernandez comes back. JJ has been struggling and might not even close. Bailey with his injury that still worries me. And Storen. But I really like Gio so I would take him easily over any of those four guys. Any chance they guy would take maybe JJ and Rauch off your hands for Gio? I think that might be the best case scenerio.

I love Gio this year, and think he is more valuable than Storen anyways. With your depth at RP and the question marks about who's closing in Washington, it's an easy accept for me.

The Nats are starting the year with a closer by committee. For that reason, plus the fact that you are being offered a SP coming off a very strong season, I would do this deal. Marmol is solid and Rauch should hold you over till Bailey returns from injury. Putz is no sure thing but he could produce.
