Hello everyone. We are taking alot of crap for our latest NL Only auction. We think our infield is ridiculous. We went for a inexpensive OF with a power/speed balance. SP is very competitive and we are the only team with 3 closers, most teams have 1 or even zero closers. We think we are competitive. How you guys rate us?

This had to have been an auction right? No way you land both Pujols and Tulo otherwise...

I don't do any one league teams, so I may not be seeing the team in the best perspective in terms of depth options, but it seems to me your infield basically needs to carry your offense and it seems like a lot of other guys to prop up. You will need guys like Morse, venable and Stubbs to take a huge step forward, but you likely know that.

I like your pitching for an NL only league.

Yes it was an auction. We dropped from 12 to ten teams this year so we took advantage to overspend early and mop up in the end. We know the outfield is experimental. We are looking for a slight increase in stubbs and a season similar to last for Venable. Morse, we expect .275 with 20-25 hr and really don't expect to be disappointed. Even reached for him a little. We handcuffed Wiggy and Helton to make up for spending on Pujols and Tulo, who fell into our laps cheap somehow. We plan on getting an early lead on saves and turn a closer into an OF. Thanks for the thoughts. And we are pumped on the pitching staff.

Thanks for your advice. I dont have any experience with NL or AL only leagues so take this with a grain of salt. I like your idea of racking up saves and then dealing for an OF. I also think you should put up some decent power numbers. You have some nice keepers as well.
