Rubber-stamp my keepers

I'm pretty sure I'm going to keep these five, but I could use some extra input. Here's who I've got as Keepers now:

Joey Votto - 1B/DH
Ryan Howard - 1B/DH
Mike Stanton - OF
Jacoby Ellsbury - OF
Brett Gardner - OF

Other options include:

BJ Upton - OF
Starlin Castro - SS

Any reason not to keep the above five?

How deep of a league? If this is really deep (20 team league), I could see taking Castro. If not I think I would rather have Upton, still some upside there. I don't think Gardner repeats his numbers from last year.

Can you trade pre-keeper deadline? If so, I would package Howard and Upton for two solid players, targeting something with two quality keepers at the same position.

14 teams. I like Castro a lot, especially in a Keeper, but I was leaning against him because I have 16 picks in the first five rounds thanks to huge trades last season and I'm thinking I'll get him back.

I have four first-round picks. I should be able to field a contender this year.
