Now this most likely will never happen, but I was replying to another post about trying to create a fantasy league with the perfect categories to show a players true talent and came up with a outragous futuristic fantasy idea.
A new use for cloning technology.
You pay so and so amount of money and you actually draft an A-Rod clone to play SS for your team. Your leaguemates each create a team and then you play a full season against each other in order to determine a league champ.
This would bring fantasy sports to an equivelent to real sports and you no longer have to argue about categories used or anything, because everything would be settled on the field. It would also factor in all the intangables a player would bring to a team.
Could this be what fantasy sports have in store for us in the future? Probably not, but Its cool to think about an actual league like that.
I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing Astroturf and the designated hitter. -Crash Davis
Stewie : [watching a baseball game] Why does that man drop his club before he runs? I would bring it with me!
