I want Halladay BACK...but this too much?

Postby thatonekid343 » Sun Mar 27, 2011 6:12 am

10 team H2H 7x7 (AVG, HR, R, RBI, SB, OPS, TB; W, L, K, ERA, WHIP, SV, QS)
So I traded Roy Halladay to this guy in the following trade:
I get: Hanley, Cain, Axford
I give: Halladay, Andrus, H. Bell

But it just really sucked losing Halladay and the owner offered him back to me in this trade:
I get: Halladay, J. Hamilton, A. Huff
I give: Konerko, Longoria, Kemp

Do I do the trade?

Here is my team:
C. Miguel Montero
1B. Paul Konerko
2B. Dustin Pedroia
3B. Evan Longoria
SS. Hanley Ramirez
OF. Matt Kemp
OF. Andrew McCutchen
OF. Shane Victorino
UTIL. Pedro Alvarez
BN. Luke Scott
BN. Vernon Wells
------------------------------------------
P. Matt Cain
P. Jered Weaver
SP. Dan Haren
SP. Jonathan Sanchez
RP. Craig Kimbrel
RP. John Axford
BN. Brandon Morrow
BN. Gio Gonzalez

It's not a bad deal. I think you are giving up slightly more but nothing I would be too concerned about. I prefer what you are giving up only because I prefer hitting over pitching but if you want Halladay then this is an ok deal.

I agree with the above post. I do value hitting more as well, but Huff is underrated even after what he did last year and there is always the chance that Hamilton gets 500 at bats and has a monster season. Plus Halladay is sick. Giving up Longo and Kemp, who by all signs is poised for a big season, is big, but hey if you want Halladay this is probably the way to do it. Big trades man, big trades.

Help on mine??

I'd be tempted and I could think of reasons why I would do it, but I like your pitching enough not to do this. Resists the man crush on Doc!
