Help with these trades... logical? plausible? brilliant?

Postby Los Gringos » Sun Mar 27, 2011 12:20 am

I am thinking of proposing a couple of trades. Are these far-fetched, or plausible?

I give Chris Young and Joe Nathan for McCutchen

I give Bautista and Werth for Crawford

What do you think?

The first trade I would try Mauer straight up for McCutchen. And then add CY if he doesn't like that deal.

The second deal is worth a try but I don't think he will accept. If the first guy just takes Mauer you can try adding CY to this deal.

Thanks for your feedback, but there is one big problem. I do not have Mauer. Did you mean Nathan? Because I don't see him accepting just Nathan for McCutchen.

Trying to upgrade through 2-for-1 or 3-for-2 trades in shallow leagues is almost always beneficial. But it's usually tough to get people to bite on these types of deals. Propose them and hope for the best but don't hold your breath.

I have no idea how i got Mauer but i thought I saw Mauer instead of Nathan. Weird.

I would absolutely do both of those deals but I am not sure they will get accepted. Worth a try though.
