The
Legends League is looking for one dedicated member for the 2011 season on ESPN. An opening has come up in the 14-member league.
The league theme focuses on baseball tradition and history with team names like
Ripken's Iron Men, Say Hey Kids, Boston Red Caps and
Shoeless Joe Jackson. We have a minor league farm system, use contracts for determining keepers, and have side events called the
Commissioner's Cup. Prizes are awarded to both the league winner and
Commissioner's Cup champ. The league is free, and we have an optional side cash pool to members who want to participate.
Our scoring format uses a 9X9 rotisserie system featuring 9 batting and hitting categories. Each week you're matched against a different opponent with the goal of winning as many categories as possible. Each category counts as either a win or loss toward your season record.
We had a great time last season, and we're looking forward to an even better 2011. If you'd like to join us, simply send an email to
