Trade offered to me - Marcum (Latos) for Victorino - WHIR

Trade was offered to me in a 10 person, 13x13 scoring league

Guy offered me Victorino

for

Marcum.

How would you compare Marcum to Latos (considering his recent injury news)?? If you like Marcum more, should I counter and offer Latos? Or should I take it as is?

MY OF:
McCutch, Bruce, Stubbs, Grandy, Raburn (I am solid with power elsewhere, and could probably use some solid AVG and speed. I can play 3 plus 1 Util)

MY SP:
CC, Latos, Cain, Marcum, Lilly, Kuroda, Hughes

Since it is a 10 team league, there are still some solid options for OF and SP. But either way there isn't really anyone I feel comfortable dropping.

I prefer both Marcum and Latos to Victorino this season. Your outfield seems solid enough as is, so I'd stand pat.

I like Latos much more than Marcum. Both in NL, but Latos has half his games in Petco Park, that's a lot of saved Earned runs.

I'd give him Marcum.

I also like Latos much more than Marcum.
I'm not a fan of Marcum this season. I think he could be a risk. he had a huge jump in IP from 2009 to 2010. in 2009 he had a total of 15.2 IP in the minors after coming back from an injury, then he had 195 IP in 2010. there is potential for him in the NL, but I would consider him risky.

if you want Victorino, Marcum is the one to give.

Yea dont do that trade. Keep both Latos and Marcum. I have both on my team as well and was contemplating on trading Marcum for a bat but i was advised not to. Marcum is in the NL now so his numbers will be better since hes only pitching to 8 hitters. Marcum has a low WHIP which is key in fantasy baseball. I also agree your outfield looks fine, especially with Raburn i like him. However you should definitely keep an eye out for another OF through trades or perhaps watch some players that are free agents that heat up maybe a month in or something.
