Pence, Jeter, Butler, Markakis or Utley?

Postby Shiti Field » Fri Mar 25, 2011 6:18 pm

I pick fourth in my keeper league draft. These are probably the five best players that will be available to draft, how do you rank them and why? I am leaning towards Pence because of the ballpark he plays in, but Markakis has always been a favorite of mine and has a very good lineup around him. Jeter also plays in a loaded lineup but is getting old which concerns me. Utley scares the crap out of me due to the injury. Opinions? Thanks!

This. Pence has been the poster boy for consistency the past three years and he's pretty much a lock to put up the same old numbers. I like Markakis and I feel like he's going to have a big year this year, but he's just not nearly as safe as Pence.
