Greinke for McCutchen or Stanton?

Postby Swipe79 » Fri Mar 25, 2011 1:17 am

Standard Scoring 5X5 Rotisserie League with 14 teams. We start 2 C, 2 1B, 2 2B, 2 3B, 2 SS, 5 OF, 10 P (Starter or Reliever) - pretty deep league.

Here is my roster after finishing the draft - still have one pick 2013 Farm (probably Wil Myers there)
C - Mike Napoli, Carlos Ruiz
1B - Mark Teixeira, Ike Davis
2B - Rickie Weeks, Ryan Raburn
3B - Jhonny Peralta (SS), Placido Polanco
SS - Derek Jeter, JJ Hardy
OF - Carl Crawford, Andrew McCutchen, Drew Stubbs, Mike Stanton, Raul Ibanez
SP - Cliff Lee, Shaun Marcum, Ricky Nolasco, Ervin Santana, James McDonald, Travis Wood, Clayton Richard
RP - Brian Wilson, Mariano Rivera, Joakim Soria
Farm: Jesus Montero (F11), Jose Tabata (F12), Wil Myers (F13)

An owner contacted me and said he was interested in McCutchen or Stanton - The only spot where I think I need help right now is at pitcher (most categories I am probably top 3-4 overall). He asked if I was interested in Greinke (also told me that he values pitchers more highly than OF) - my initial reaction is "No Thanks" just wanted to see if any of you benchies think pulling the trigger on a deal is worthwhile for me. So if you had the choice, which do you choose?

Andrew McCutchen for Zack Greinke
Mike Stanton for Zack Greinke

Stand pat

I had Grienke 2 years ago and he helped me win a title
I had Grienke last year and he killed me

i like Grienke, but way too risky

the of's are much safer bets.

help with mine?
