Sharing time with one Mr. Lamb. Apparently Ensberg has done something to piss off Jimmy Williams, because he still isn't getting full backing from the manager. Jimmy is a horrible manager.....
Ok so I had Ensberg last year and I can't tell you the nights I sat in a dark room rocking back and forth cursing the name of Jimmy Williams.
I think this will end up costing Ensberg 4-5 HR and that drops him a notch in desirability in my book.
I don't think Ensberg is that great. But this does hurt his value. And Jimy Williams only has one "M" in Jimy. If you're going to hate him, know who you're hating
"Jack, will you call me, if you're able?"
"I've got your phone number written, in the back of my Bible."
Morgan Ensberg left the Astros yesterday for personal reasons and won't return until Sunday's game.
Absence lately in Spring Training is no reason to freak out, but once the season starts he will only be hitting seventh in the lineup and Lamb will probably get a start at least once a week.
anyone who owns ensberg deserves what you get after last year-either you shouldn't have drafted him or you should've traded him in the offseason.it became apparent early in spring training if you paid attention that ensberg was going to bat 7th and now with the acquisition of mr lamb and jimy loving to platoon ensberg is not worth much at all.
I drafted him to be my starting 3B earlier in the year. After reading reports of Williams putting him in the 7th hole, I knew it was a sign of things yet to come. So, I started shopping him around and managed to trade him for Lowe and Mora.
Williams must have a personal grudge against Ensberg. The guy has a ton of talent, but Williams just refuses to tap into that talent. Horrible manager.
