In a league where you have lf, rf, cf, Rios is a stud. I would trade Chapman for him and not look back. It does depend on if your 10 keepers are kept in the round they are drafted in or if they are all just kept as basically the top 10 rounds. If so I'm not sure Chapman has a good shot at really being a 9th rounder or better in 2012, so that makes that trade even better.
I'd probably not do the Furcal for Young thing. It does help you at a need (SS) but you're giving up a lot of value and Furcal is definitely on the wrong end of his career for a keeper. If you could give Chapman and Victorino (or Young if you like Vic better) for Rios and S Drew I think I would do that instead.
i agree with you that the rios seems to be a better trade....my only reservation is that it would give me a logjam at RF....which i can do since its early but i already have a logjam at 1st and 3rd... with that info do u think i should still do it while its being offered...
also there is no limit on keepers...its the top 10 you pick from your last years team
I wouldn't deal Young...It was said this spring that besides being the DH, he's going to be moving around the entire infield and eventually gain elegibility at multiple positions which should help you out in the long run...
ok...not going to trade young away and not going to trade for rios becasue i have victorino,,.but what if i offer chapman to the owner of Drew at SS...he is somewhat interested...or would i be making a mistake
