Gordon Beckham SUPERSTAR?

Postby Nyger Morgan MD » Tue Mar 22, 2011 8:15 pm

I am debating whether to keep Gordon Beckham in the 25th round of a keeper league (last year left). Only worry is he keeps getting hyped as this next big superstar but is his upside really that high and has he even proved anything. Will he be a top 5 fantasy 2B this year? I see a ceiling this year of .280 20HR 90Runs, 70 RBI's, 10SB's and 35 Doubles. Is he worth it?

He won't be a top 5 2B this year, but yeah, I'd keep him in the 25th round of a keeper league for sure. If he gets off to a hot start, or reaches some of his potential, there will be ample opportunity to trade him.

He'll easily outperform his 25th round value for you. Keep him.
