Check out this trade please

Postby nytoazkmac94 » Mon Mar 21, 2011 5:51 pm

I am in a 12 team league and I drafted all of my pitchers late, my top two ended up being tommy hanson and jered weaver. I was looking to trade both of these pitchers for one all star pitcher. I was planning on going for Felix Hernandez. Any comments?

I'd stick with those two. They're both very solid and combined will definitely get you more stats then just one ace.

I would definately go with the two you have. Weaver and Hanson are both very solid, and as was said, will probably do more for you than Felix + random waiver wire pitcher.

Also keep in mind, that a single Ace along with a bunch of scrubs de-values the aces ratios. His K's will still hold the same value, but again, your ratios with weaver/hanson will probably look nicer than with Felix/replacementpitcher.

I don't see why you want to do this. 2 solid pitcher is better than 1 good one. I mean at best Felix can give you 20 wins 220 SO, 2.00 ERA and good WHIP. But that is the best you are going get out of him and you will get far more from the 2 you currently have. You might want to trade some of your hitter for a good pitcher to strengthen your rotation.
