Well I think the sum of this trades are a downgrade for you based on just this year, unless Heyward just completely mashes, and Bruce plays to full potential. I'm a huge fan of both Heyward and Bruce in the near future though. The cost on Cano seems kind of steep but Cano is great.
I think I'd pull this trade off though. Its risky this year but I think you come out ahead in the future. What OFs are you replacing with Bruce and Heyward, and who will slide into your UTIL slot?

As it stands right now I am cutting either Price or Lirano for nothing as we only keep 8
Yes, the price for Cano seems steep but I'm basically paying for the 2B upgrade with 2 pitchers that I value under JJ and Verlander and wouldn't be keeping.
I guess the question is, which set of keepers do you prefer going forward? I'm also gaining a first round pick if I go ahead with these deals. Something I don't currently have.
