Who would you rather have on your fantasy team and why. Derek Jeter or Edgar Renteria.

Pretty much a toss up though I'd still lean towards Jeter just because he's a more proven player than renteria.

I have Renteria so I might be biased, but I think Renteria will put up better numbers this year.

Renteria...more RBIs, more SBs...
Jeter...more HRs, more Rs...

In my leagues this year, Jeter has been going AFTER Renteria. I suppose this is due to his injury last year. Thus, perhaps some think he won't steal as much this year as he did in the past. Both ways, I think JETER, not Renteria is actually the better value pick this year. I don't see Renteria repeating with such a high average, though he is still definitely an elite Fantasy SS.

Renteria is far superior! He is getting better while Jeter is just sitting there, people alway over-value yankees. Jeter is like a name... Renteria is a stud

Don't listen to the cubbies fan, I'll take Edgar over Jeter in a heartbeat. Renteria is getting better in his approach at the plate and that's why his average went up last year, I would expect the same if not better this year. I would even expect some more HR's.
these are not the droids your looking for
